ABC House

Every year PEAK Internet donates our staff’s time and funds to sponsoring The ABC House in Albany.

ABC House is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization which provides a safe, child friendly environment where children who are suspected of having been abused or neglected can come to receive a neutral, objective, comprehensive assessment.  Assessments may include a head to toe medical check up and/or an interview conducted by specially trained and experienced individuals. Non offending family members will receive support and information to help their children begin the healing process.We invite you look further to learn more about ABC House, identify resources that would be helpful to you and identify how you can help the children of the communities we serve.

Community Coordinated Response
ABC House is a member of the MDT (Multi-Disciplinary team) team in both Linn and Benton Counties.  Being a member of the MDT allows all the community partners to work together to provide a coordinated response to children who are suspected of having been abused.  Through this coordinated response the team is able to insure that clear objective information is gathered, at the same time insuring the child and family are supported through the process and provided the necessary services enabling them to begin the healing process and move forward with a happy, healthy life.
